Gabriel Ruata. Untitled 12″x16″ Mixed media (resin, acrylic, oil, marker) instagram: gabriel_ruata
Eve Stocker. “Untitled” 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches (artist trading cards) Mixed media. A series of multimedia artist trading cards created in response to the COVID pandemic, describing ways to connect with nature/self and as a way to process the feelings of isolation and uncertainty.
Barbara Langmaid. “Pieces I” 21″x70″ Acrylic on paper. This experimental work, an attempt to abstract previous paintings of debris, has evolved into a kind of “pandemonium soup.” http://www.barbaralangmaid.com
Giovanni Spezzacatena (Rabideye) “BeeReef 1-4″ polyptych 4 x 12″ x12″ 1.5” Encaustic/mixed media on cradled wood panels. This was what started the intertidal concept for me- the fingers of fresh water streaming into the ocean so visibly dynamic at low tide; a transferring of powers. The colours used are accentuated from the natural dyes inherent to starfish and seaweed and crabs. http://www.rabideye.com
Giovanni Spezzacatena “Covidae Majoris” Photo collage of 9 mixed media and collage pieces on wood panel. Each 8″x8″x1″ Using repurposed maps, graph paper, white ink depicting contours and borders, and how Covid-19 does not heed these. http://www.rabideye.com
Annie Robinson. “My Festival Lifestyle is On Hold” 9″x12″ Acrylic on archival paper. I may not have had a festival lifestyle before, but now I definitely can’t have one.. https://annierobinson.art/ instagram: @annieonthewater
